Since 2002, John has been an entrepreneur, selling his first website at 14. Since then, he founded five successful ventures, including Scientific Marketing Group, which generated over $50 million in revenue for its clients. John also founded Future School, a nonprofit devoted to ensuring children develop the skills to be happy, healthy, and successful.
Scott has been fascinated with solving complex problems since childhood. He took advanced college calculus in 6th grade, graduated high school at 16, and went on to become valedictorian of his Chemical Engineering class. In just a few months at 3M, he co-invented and patented a product that sells over $35 million per year and revolutionized their media buying and analytics teams.
Connor wrote his first lines of HTML and CSS in elementary school to configure his Neopets profile. In high school, he had a revenue-generating website and did freelance software development, creating custom web applications. Before co-founding Kizen, Connor developed custom marketing, modeling, and investor relations tools for the financial industry in Austin, TX.

Moriah has always loved connecting the right customer to the right product. Prior to joining Kizen, Moriah was the Director of Performance Marketing at Atlassian and led content strategy across all properties and products including Jira, Confluence, and Trello. Prior to Atlassian, she was the Head of SEO at RingCentral where she turned her channel into the largest revenue driver overall and a big contributor to the rapid growth of the company.
Kaitlyn loves creating amazing experiences. Kaitlyn has worked in marketing, operations, and client success in the e-learning and SaaS industries for the last decade. Before Kizen, Kaitlyn managed a global team that fielded requests from over 65,000 clients and helped create a team culture that focused on client success, not just support.
Hanna is passionate about enabling others to accomplish ambitious goals. At Remo+ she led 5 teams across PR, social media, online and offline advertising, events and trade shows, and digital marketing. She also designed and developed a new website which boosted quarterly revenue share from 1.6% to 37.9%. Prior to Remo+, she was a Founder and Program Director at Thinktomi where she partnered with prestigious universities and foreign government organizations to support young entrepreneurs.
Ian loves building great technology. He's a veteran full-stack developer with 11 years experience working for both startups and Fortune 500 companies like Cisco, Hyundai, and Gucci. He's especially passionate about building intuitive experiences and helping companies get the most out of their data to make confident, correct decisions that drive growth and happiness.
Alex Smith’s career spans more than 30 years in the global financial markets and high-tech industry sectors. Prior to establishing Meritage Capital in 2003, Mr. Smith founded and was a Managing Director of Dell Ventures, the private equity arm of Dell Inc. He also served as Vice President and Treasurer of Dell Inc. Prior his time at Dell, Mr. Smith held finance and treasury positions at Commodore International, Ltd., and EDS.
Susan Sheskey is a noted authority on eCommerce and supply chain technologies, as well as in the use of standards and innovative solutions to transform businesses while driving down costs. She served as Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer at Dell Inc, an organization recognized by CIO Magazine as a CIO 100 Innovation Award winner for nine years, and she was recognized by eWeek in 2007 as among the Top 10 Most Powerful Women in Technology.
Patrick co-founded MPK Equity Partners and serves as Managing Partner and member of the investment committee. Prior to MPK, Patrick was a co-founder, Partner, and member of the investment committee at Brazos Private Equity Partners, a $1.4 billion private equity firm. Prior to co-founding Brazos, Patrick was a senior investment professional at Hicks, Muse, Tate & Furst, a private equity firm and was an investment banker with Merrill Lynch & Co.
Peter Wooster has over 25 years of experience in technology sales and sales leadership. Peter built the first SaaS sales team during his time at Salesforce as the founding member and leader of the sales organization and the 15th employee overall. Peter went on to manage sales at Angel Points and more recently served as Chief Revenue Officer and Executive Vice President of Sales for Marin Software, part of the team that took the company public.
